Dear Patient:
I am writing to inform you that effective, 2/23/2024, I have decided to close my practice, 207 Chiropractic, located at 237 Main Street, Kingfield, ME. Patients can be scheduled until that day.
It has been my pleasure to serve your medical needs. I thank you for the privilege of being your chiropractor. If you require assistance in finding a new doctor of chiropractic, I recommend you contact the Maine Board of Chiropractic Licensure at 207-624-8620, https://www.maine.gov/pfr/professionallicensing/professions/chiropractic-licensure , or the Maine Chiropractic Association at 207-622-5421, https://www.mainechiro.com/. You can also contact your health insurance plan if you have one.
Once you have a new chiropractor, he/she may need copies of your electronic health record to treat you. If you do not contact me before the practice closure with a formal request to release your records, I will remain the custodian of all 207 Chiropractic patient records. I can be reached at 508-399-1199, or mainebackdoc@gmail.com in the future if you would like to authorize record release to your new chiropractic physician, or primary care provider.
Again, I have valued our professional relationship.
Sincerely,
Dr. LeBlanc

Chiropractor
Dr. LeBlanc has an undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences from St. Anselm College in Manchester, NH. He completed his chiropractic boards after graduating from the University of Bridgeport. His clinical training was done at the VA Medical Center in Newington, CT, and Optimus Healthcare, a federally qualified health center (FQHC) in Bridgeport, CT. He currently maintains privileges at a large FQHC in Greater Bangor but also lives here locally in Kingfield. Born and raised in Maine, he enjoys the many Summer and Winter outdoor activities that this region has to offer.
Our bodies are quite adept at repairing themselves. Chiropractors use methods that aid that natural ability with treatments like vertebral and extremity manipulations (also called chiropractic adjustments), myofascial/active release, and modalities like electrical muscle stimulation, Graston soft tissue technique, Kinesiotaping (proprioception), cryo/thermo therapy, & topical analgesics. Studies have shown that manipulation has been effective for offering backpain and neck pain relief.
Chiropractors believe that by avoiding high consumption of processed ingredients and pesticides reduces the harmful substances entering our bodies. Replacing them with cleaner, more organically grown food and natural plant remedies aids the body in healing itself.
Chiropractors employ therapeutic exercise, and facilitated stretching which increases flexibility and stamina, decreases pain and anxiety, especially back pain and neck pain.
